Light pollution Alt book
In this project, I plan to make a book talk about light pollution, aim to tell people where the light pollution from and how it influences us and our environments. I want to make people pay more attention to this issue through my book. As it is one of the easiest pollutions to clean up. Everyone can make a small change to improve the solution to light pollution.
I investigated and conducted some experiments to discover what light looks like and tried to find some visual elements of light. Then, draw some illustrations based on the knowledge in professional articles and reports on light pollution.
In many art works, artists often use yellow-orange to describe light, perhaps under the influence of the sun, while bright yellow-orange has a warning meaning. Therefore, I use yellow and black to make books, and create a light effect on the paper through the strong contrast of these two colors.
For binding, I changed the shape of the book page into a beam shape, then used rivet to bind the pages together so that each page could be rotated 360 degrees.
